Made of polypropylene resin, the black SE-710 Hurricane Series Case with Foam from Seahorse is a watertight, airtight, and crush resistant case made to protect your gear while traveling to a destination or keeping everything secure while in storage. The polymer has a high resistance to chemicals, solvents, and fuels.
All moving parts, such as hinges and handles, do not have metal pins and are made of an ABS plastic, which cannot rust and are not affected by extreme temperatures. The case comes with pick-and-pluck foam, which can be customized to take the shape of whatever equipment the user intends to place inside. The interior of the lid is lined with egg-crate foam while the bottom of the case features a 1/2" layer of high-density foam.
All Seahorse SE cases have an O-ring on the inside diameter of the lid and the cases have an IP rating of 67, which makes them dustproof and water-submersible up to 3.2'. Closing the lid and latches activates the auto-purge valve, equalizing the pressure inside the case and protecting the contents from altitude changes. The case also has two molded padlock holes able to take standard padlocks and TSA locks especially helpful when the case will be out of your sight.
