What happens when it gets hit with 48v? Will it pass through to the computer?
This product is to convert a 3.5mm line level signal out from a computer to an XLR mic level signal. No 48 volt phantom power should be involved in this procedure.

I just bought 1 of these a few days ago from you. It showed up today and the 3.5mm end is not solid black like the one in the picture? Why is it different. I really wanted the black end. Could you see if that is still available like that? Thanks
It is not unusual for a manufacturer to change a small non-critical production feature or cosmetic component that wouldn't affect performance. We do not have another version available.
