We purchased this to be used with our current manfrotto heavy duty tripod and our new Blackmagic Ursa camera. It does not fit our manfrotto tripod and head. The fastener screw is much too small for our tripod. Bummer because it works great with our camera.
After consulting with B&H support to confirm the Pan Bar would work with my JVC GY-H500u video camera, I purchased the device and I'm extremely happy with it. I was ask to film live broadcast of high school basketball playoffs and the Manfrotto RC Pan Bar provided me the ability to pan, and zoom, the camera to catch all the action. In my case the Pan Bar plugged into the Remote Terminal on the camera and it works perfectly. The Pan Bar can control focus, zoom, iris, and has a zoom speed controller.
