HYPER Upgrades DUO 7-in-2 USB-C Hub with Extra Power

0Share

Ever since Apple moved to only Thunderbolt™ 3/USB Type-C ports on the MacBook line, many people immediately began to look for solutions for connecting all their current devices. HYPER stepped in to solve this problem with a series of well-designed hubs, the latest of which is the upgraded HyperDrive DUO 7-in-2 USB-C Hub. Available in Space Gray or Silver, these precision-designed hubs give you all the ports you need to have back and then some.

The hub slips into two Thunderbolt™ 3 ports on a MacBook Pro or Air and now has a magnetic grip that attaches it more securely to the laptop. The aluminum enclosure even matches the look of your MacBook. Longer USB-C prongs will permit it to work with select cases, as well. As for what it gives you for those two Thunderbolt™ 3 ports, well, it’s a great deal. There is an HDMI port capable of sending a 4K signal at 60 Hz, a 40 Gb/s USB-C port with 100W Power Delivery, a 5 Gb/s USB-C port with 60W Power Delivery, UHS-I SD and microSD card slots, and two 5 Gb/s USB-A ports.

It is quite small, too, weighing just 0.23 lb. This means it can slip into your bag and go wherever your laptop goes.
