Logitech Reveals Latest MX Master 4 Wireless Mouse and More

Logitech is excited to announce the successor to its legendary MX Master 3S mouse, the MX Master 4. Somehow, Logitech managed to make a perfect mouse even more perfect. Featuring additional buttons, a smoother overall feel, and immersive haptic feedback, the MX Master 4 is destined to become your new daily driver.

Fan-Favorite Features

Returning to the fold are a few fan-favorite features. The Quiet Clicks feature returns, reducing noise by 90% so you can focus without distractions. The MagSpeed scroll wheel is back, allowing you to swiftly go from precise scrolling to 1,000 lines-per-second with just a mere flick of the finger. The thumb scroll wheel also makes a return for those who like to scroll horizontally or however they want thanks to Logitech’s customization capabilities.

With the Logi Options+ software, you can adjust every aspect of the mouse down to what the buttons do. Bluetooth connectivity also makes a return with the option to use the included USB-C dongle, which also sees a general improvement with 2x more powerful connectivity. We also can’t forget about the integrated sensor, which can reach up to 8,000 dpi.

Immersive Haptic Feedback

Logitech merged haptic feedback technology and their Logi Options+ software into a singular, cohesive experience that transforms how you control your work. With the Haptic Sense Panel, users can pull up the new the Actions Ring with a simple press of a button. The Action Ring gives you instant access to your most used shortcuts, which can also be customized.

The haptic engine reacts to your natural flow, notifying you when the mouse awakes from a sleep state, when the battery is low, and even reacts when you are adjusting various graphical elements in your Adobe design software. Logitech is making the APK for the MX Master 4 open, so that programmers can improve on the already great technology with ease.

New and Improved Design

The MX Master 4 is a direct reaction to the few qualms people had with the MX Master 3S, changing up the core design philosophy while retaining what was great in the previous generation. You still have a somewhat similar shape, one that cradles your hand ever so nicely. Instead of the rubber-like wrap that converges around every corner, it is now replaced with a sturdy and easy-to-clean plastic shell. Rubber accenting is still found around the thumb rest and along the right side where your pinky rests. Of course, this doesn’t affect the ergonomic shape, which has also been adjusted for a much more comfortable feel.

One great improvement that I appreciate is Logitech’s push for sustainability and repairability. The MX Master 4 is manufactured with recycled materials, and all components can be replaced and repaired for long-lasting use.

Overall, the MX Master 4 is a fantastic mouse, a great leap forward for creative professionals with a ton of utility for business professionals as well. If you are looking for precision, reliability, and long-lasting performance, you can’t go wrong with the MX Master 4. There are various versions of the MX Master 4 available, including models for Windows, Mac, and more.
