The TP-Link Archer Series of networking devices covers a wide range of solutions, from routers to cable modems, range extenders, and more. The Archer CR500 Wireless-AC1200 Dual-Band DOCSIS 3.0 Cable Modem & Router from TP-Link combines the convenience of a DOCSIS 3.0 cable modem and speed of an 802.11ac dual-band wireless router in a single high-performance design. This cable modem/router is compatible with a wide range of cable Internet service providers, such as XFINITY, Comcast, and Spectrum.

Once installed, the router portion of the Archer CR500 offers enhanced Wi-Fi connectivity with support for the 802.11ac Wi-Fi standard, which supports data-transfer rates of up to 300 Mbps on the 2.4 GHz frequency and up to 867 Mbps on the 5 GHz frequency. In addition to wireless connectivity, the Archer CR500 comes equipped with four Gigabit Ethernet ports, making it easy to connect Ethernet-enabled devices, such as computers, game consoles, smart TVs, and more directly to the network.
