Keeping up with the times, Samsung has updated its Notebook 9 series laptops with 7th-generation Intel® Kaby Lake™ processors, for better performance and efficiency. The 15" model now features a 2.7 GHz Intel Core™ i7-7500U dual-core processor and 8GB of LPDDR3 RAM. Alternatively, you can get a more advanced version with 16GB of DDR4 RAM and a dedicated NVIDIA GeForce 940MX graphics card for more graphical and processing prowess. Even though 15" notebooks are popular, Samsung also has a 13.3" model for users who need something small, light, and portable. It packs all the great features of the 15" notebook, but in a smaller form factor. The newer notebooks running DDR4 are also built with a 180-degree hinge, allowing you to lay the system completely flat so others can read along.
Similarly named are the Notebook 9 Pro and the Notebook 9 Spin. The Pro sports a 3840 x 2160 4K UHD Multi-Touch display, driven by a GTX 950M graphics card, to deliver highly detailed visual content. On the other hand, the Spin is Samsung’s version of a convertible notebook. Its 360-degree rotating hinge allows you to use it in multiple modes, such as laptop, tablet, and tent, so you can find the best fit for your current application. Moreover, both models are equipped with a real-time HDR feature that adjusts the brightness and contrast of the display automatically for clearer details, regardless of the lighting conditions. With a Samsung Notebook 9, you’ll also have access to Samsung Link 2.0, which offers easy file sharing between your Notebook 9, Galaxy smartphone, and Smart TV, as well as Samsung SideSync, for mirroring your smartphone to the Notebook 9 wirelessly.
