You may already be familiar with the Ubiquiti Networks extensive line of UniFi Access Points. Well, add another to the list with the UniFi nanoHD Access Point, sold as a 1-pack, 3-pack, or 5-pack, making it easy to purchase the requisite number needed for your network deployment. Not only does the UniFi ecosystem offer virtually unlimited scalability, these new UniFi nanoHD access points can be customized to suit your environment with optional skins, featuring camo, concrete, marble, wood, black, and fabric designs to suit any decor.
The low-profile access point can be installed quickly and easily using the included mounting hardware, and with 802.3af PoE connectivity, you no longer need to run a dedicated power supply to the AP. Although, if you choose to run a power adapter to the access point, the nanoHD comes compatible with 48V power supplies.
Once installed, the UniFi nanoHD can really shine, thanks to support for the 802.11ac wave-2 networking standard. The wave-2 standard allows this AP to communicate with multiple clients simultaneously. Thus, the 4x4 spatial streams offer multiple dedicated pathways for connected devices to communicate with the network, reducing congestion and increasing available bandwidth.
Along with support for the 802.11ac wave-2 networking standard, this Ubiquiti Networks AP supports Ubiquiti’s UniFi controller software. With this software, you can manage your entire network of access points and other network devices from one central dashboard or through the UniFi mobile app (available for iOS and Android devices). Get a bird’s-eye view of your entire network using the RF map to ensure all areas are covered by your network, while the multi-site management tool lets you manage multiple sites all from the same dashboard. The UniFi controller also allows you to analyze detailed reports concerning various aspects of your network, conduct performance tests including spectral analysis, airtime fairness, and band steering, and manage multiple WLAN groups.
