Genaray recently announced its round Mini Moon LED light. This RGB lighting solution is designed to provide soft, broad coverage that is perfect for tabletop photography, portraits, and interviews.
This light features an integrated diffuser for soft wraparound and a single-shadow beam. Offering an impressive 120° of coverage, tilting adjustments, and flicker-free operation, users can enjoy reliable performance in nearly any creative capacity. It features dimming from 100% to 0% in 1% increments, which can be precisely configured via a dial and LCD screen on the back panel.
Also notable are the Mini Moon’s CCT and RGB modes, which benefit from high CRI and TLCI ratings of 97 and 99, respectively. Users are afforded enormous customizability in either mode, with adjustable color temperature and brightness in CCT mode, and adjustable hue, brightness, and saturation in RGB mode.
In CCT mode, users can select from temperature ranges from 2700-10000K and fine-tune brightness from 0% to 100%. In RGB mode, users can adjust the hue 360°, as well as the brightness and saturation values.
Both modes notably include their own Rolodex® of special effects, which can be accessed by enabling FX mode while either RGB or CCT are in use. Offering 20 effects in total, users can apply animated lighting with frequency controls to determine how fast an effect plays.
The Mini Moon additionally supports DMX-512 for live shows and events as well as a wireless control up to 60 feet away using the separately available wireless remote.
Included with the Mini Moon are a yoke, AC adapter, power cord, and carrying case. Users can alternatively outfit the LED with either two NP-F batteries, or one V-mount battery for mobile usage.
