The price had me worried. Of all the remote controls I've ever bought for cameras, strobes and other gear this was the lowest $$$ price. But Genaray did it right. Size, weight, features, and easy to operate make this a gotta have accessory. Buy it, test it out, you'll end up loving it.

I like the large size of the remote. When you hold it, it feels comfortable in your hands and knowing it won't slip off. It has a very attractive finish as well. The Genaray RSF-11-R Wireless Remote, not only works the Genaray Mini Moon RGB Light Panel, but it also works on the Full Moon and even works on the Genaray Accushine (daylight only COB LED) lights as well in case you have one or plan to purchase one. It has a large, easy to read and bright LCD display lit in blue. The buttons are silent and also made of rubber, and one thing that I like about the buttons is that they prevent you from making unwanted changes by hitting a button you shouldn't. You have to press it down deep but I don't mean, press it down hard, just deeper, the buttons respond very well with a light press. The remote will go to sleep within 30 seconds to conserve battery. When you press the power button again, it remembers the last settings. Keep in mind that, if you decide to override settings and control from the light, when you come back to the remote and press the button any button on settings, the light will prioritize the last settings from the remote. The same happens with all other remotes I have from different lights and brands. This is normal. Takes two AAA batteries (not included) A remote in my opinion is always better than using as App and it if falls on the ground, it's not my phone, it's a remote which won't break and if it did, it's inexpensively replaceable. [I have received this product in exchange for my honest review]

Is there a way to turn on or off the lights using the remote? The only way seems to be to go to 0%.

The Genaray RSF-11-R Wireless Remote for the Mini Moon RGB Light Panel can put the light into a sleep mode by long press on ON/OFF button.
