Godox Announces Litemons LA300R, LA300Bi, and LA150R LED Monolights

Godox is expanding its Litemons series with three all-new monolights. Introducing the LA150R and LA300R RGB monolights and the LA300Bi bi-color monolight. Expect the same customizable color temperature, dimming, special effects, Bowens accessory mounts, and versatile control options that have the Litemons series so popular, all packed into a portable, lightweight design that's easy to set up and adjust. Whether you’re livestreaming, podcasting, shooting social media content, or building a home studio, these lights offer a ton of flexibility at an approachable price point. Alongside the new monolights, Godox also announced a series of new AK-GS Metal Slide Kit modifiers you can use with the company's popular AK-R21 Projection Attachment to expand the capabilities of your Godox flash.

The Litemons LA series aims to balance power and cost, giving filmmakers and photographers continuous LED lighting that can elevate their content and open up tons of creative possibilities. The series is designed for mostly indoor use, but their small size and minimal weight mean you can tuck them into small nooks and crannies that simply can’t accommodate larger fixtures. Their output is nothing to scoff at either, with the LA300R clocking in at 330W and the LA150R reaching 165W. That won’t be enough to overpower daylight or illuminate huge spaces, but it’ll certainly go far in smaller environments and studios. The RGB versions have a color temperature range of 1800-10,000K, while the bi-color variation goes from 2800 to 6500K.

If you're looking to simulate daylight or going for a more naturalistic look, the bi-color monolight is a good way to save some cash, but the two RGB lights are where this series really shines. Users can switch between CCT, HSI, RGBW, GEL, and FX modes for granular color control, and there are multiple built-in lighting effects for simulating different creative sources like flashes, storms, TVs, and fire. The built-in Bowens mounts on the lights add even more customization options, allowing you to attach softboxes, snoots, spotlights, and more. An RFT-19 Reflector with a 30° beam spread is included alongside an AC power adapter.

Godox's AK-R21 Projection Attachment for Flash Heads has found a home in many photographer’s kits, allowing users to slot in tons of unique slides that give one-of-a-kind looks to their flash. The five new AK-GS slide kits expand these options with strong, well-constructed slides that hold up to extended use. Each kit includes six unique metal slides with different projection patterns and shapes.
