Take a Look Through the New Leica 32mm Trinovid HD Binoculars

Striking a sensitive balance between compact and full-sized binoculars, Leica’s latest addition to the Trinovid HD family, the new 8x32 and 10x32 models enjoy the performance of the latter and the easy portability of the former—without compromise.

Engineered with the technology that we have come to expect from the brand, the Trinovid features P40 phase-corrected prisms treated with the HighLux system, to limit internal light diffraction and eliminate interference, for improved clarity, sharpness, and contrast. The objective lenses are fully multi-coated with Leica's High Durability Coatings (HDC) that maximize light transmission through the optical path to ensure accurate color fidelity and high-contrast views, especially in challenging lighting conditions. These technologies work together and complement each other to produce an immersive observational experience with bright images that are clear and sharp across the entire field of view. To capture extremely close-up views of small birds, bugs, butterflies, and insects, the Trinovids are equipped with an exceptionally short 3.3' minimum focus distance.

Built to withstand the rigors of the outdoors, the chassis is made of a lightweight and durable aluminum alloy wrapped in protective, slip-resistant rubber armor. External lens surfaces are treated with Leica’s dirt- and water-repellent AquaDura coating, making them easy to clean to ensure clear views in inclement weather. The optical tubes are nitrogen-filled and O-ring sealed to be waterproof, and resistant to internal fogging when moving through extreme temperature changes or conditions. A wide interpupillary adjustment range, generous ±4 dioptric correction, long eye relief, and four-position click-stop eyecups ensures easy and comfortable use by most people.

From their exceptional optical performance to the thoughtful construction details, these mid-sized Trinovids deliver performance while being comfortable in the hand during long observation sessions on the trail, at the range, in the stadium, or sightseeing around town.
