Announcing Lowepro Fastpacks AW III and Slingshot III

Lowepro has introduced three new all-weather photo travel bags: the Lowepro Fastpack BP 250 AW III, Lowepro Fastpack PRO BP AW III, and Lowepro Slingshot SL 250 AW lll. Designed for a 50/50 split between camera gear and personal gear, the new bags are about 33% lighter and about 25% more compact than their predecessors.

As their names imply, the Lowepro “Fast”-series packs are designed for quick and easy access to your camera gear without having to first stop and sit the bag down on a step, bench, rock, or walkway. By pulling the bag from behind, sling-style, Lowepro’s patented Simplified QuickDoor design enables you to reach into the deepest recesses of the bag for easy in-and-out access to your cameras and lenses without having to stop in your tracks.

Lowepro Fastpack BP 250 AW III

Lowepro’s Fastpack BP 250 AW III is designed to carry a 50/50 split between a compact mirrorless or DSLR system with 2-3 lenses and personal belongings, yet it’s about 33% lighter and 25% more compact than its predecessor. The BP 250 AW III, which has a 20L weight capacity, also has enough room to stow a 13" laptop and a compact drone.

Lowepro Pro BP 250 AW III

The Lowepro Pro BP 250 AW III is a larger bag with a 25L weight capacity. Designed for full-size DSLRs and larger mirrorless cameras with accessory grips, Lowepro’s Pro BP 250 AW III can also safely carry a 15" laptop. Compared to the smaller Fastpack 250 AW III, the larger Pro BP 250 AW III features additional molded EVA interior dividers, a padded waist belt for improved comfort, and an additional pocket for paperwork.

Lowepro Slingshot SL 250 AW III

With a 10L weight capacity, Lowepro’s Slingshot SL 250 AW III is the smallest of the three new bags. Designed to carry a DSLR, a mirrorless camera, video camera, or a compact drone, the SL 250 AW III features a side tripod pocket and is about 13% lighter than its predecessor.

The exteriors of Lowepro’s latest offerings are made of a high-grade ripstop nylon with Exterior PU coatings that add additional protection against foul weather and abrasion.
