A Good Compromise

A good compromise between a holster and a backpack. Not as comfortable for long periods as a backpack, but much quicker access, and holds more than a holster. The material quality is very nice and hopefully it'll hold up for a long time. Includes some nice touches like an area to hold a phone or glasses with soft-touch material, a waterproof cover, a removable stabilizing strap for extra-strenuous hikes, and the buckles that secure the main compartment have straps that can be loosened and re-tightened to hold something larger like a rolled-up jacket underneath the pack. I can easily fit R10 with EF-S 55-250 (w/ RF-EF adapter) mounted, RF 18-150, and EF 50, along with other odds and ends in the top compartment. In addition, I can just squeeze my macbook air 13 into the tablet sleeve. Would I want to do that? Almost never. Carrying 3 lenses wouldn't allow me to put both the 55-250 and the camera with either of the other lenses mounted, into the bag at the same time. The lighter and more convenient setup is to leave the EF 50 (and macbook) at home. That way I can have one lens mounted and the other packed safely in the bag. One thing I like is that you can access your camera without taking off the bag. You just rotate it around and can open the side of the zipper compartment like a holster, without risking everything else falling out. When you want to access your other lens, you need to un-snap a couple buckles to open it all the way up. The compartment is not thick, so this bag won't work well for larger serious cameras or lenses. There's not enough room to put any clothing much bulkier than a windbreaker in the top. The tripod pocket will fit a small water bottle but not a bike-size bottle or insulated bottle. The length of the shoulder strap works fine for me and i'm pretty average build adult male. I walked 8 miles with it today and it was comfortable.

I can confirm that a 13" macbook air actually does fit, but BARELY.

I want to be able to store my 15" total lenght camre + lens, without having to remove the lens. Is it possible to remove the top and bottom comptarment divider?

There is not a reversible way to remove the middle section. If you remove it that's it. Or you'd have to sew in velcro.
