Unfortunately, the Canon EF 400mm f/4 DO IS II USM Lens is a relatively new lens which is still awaiting to arrive hopefully later this month. At this time, as the lens is not available, we do not have any reviews from customers as they do not yet have the lens for testing. As currently indicated on our website, the Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS II USM Lens is currently priced for pre-order at $2,199.00.
It makes me angry to see articles and advertising about the lens in this section, yet I can't get any information about the my preorder of this lens. I really screwed up when I sold my old 400 DO. I bought the new one because of the expected release date. I thought I would have it for my winter migration wildlife photography. The 400 DO is my primary lens for birds in flight and now I've lost a year and I'm no spring chicken with another thirty years ahead of me.
