Nanlite continues to expand upon its FC line with the release of two new 1350W LED spotlights, the RGBW FC-1200C and the Bi-Color FC-1200B. These powerful fixtures, with their innovative wing-shaped top housing, offer the line's highest-output continuous light for film, broadcast, and studio productions, in addition to wireless control options, the versatile Bowens mount for attaching modifiers, and high-accuracy ratings.
The 16.9 x 15 x 7.9" form factor makes the lights large, and their 22 lb weight makes them hefty. All that size, however, translates to power: 140,580 lux at 3.3' for the FC-1200B, and 125,820 lux at 3.3' for the FC-1200C when both are shot with the included reflector at 5600K.
The FC-1200C has an impressive CCT range of 2400 to 12,000K, with +/-150 G/M shift, 1% increment dimming, and 460 gel presets from LEE and Rosco. The FC-1200B's bi-color CCT range of 2700 to 6500K pairs with its high color accuracy for superior colors and skin tones.
Both provide high color accuracy (CRI/TLCI ratings of 96/98 and 95/94, respectively), a bounty of creative effects, and an array of wired and wireless control options, including DMX and Bluetooth via the NANLINK app, and NFC.
The included 45° reflector amplifies the bare bulb output, and a single-sided, stepless locking yoke offers the fixtures 360° of rotation. The lights come with a hard-foam carry case for transport and a power supply cable for direct power from a standard AC outlet.
Nanlite is also announcing the CC-ST-FC1200, a rolling, padded case that accommodates either model. It's an ideal upgrade option for users who prioritize fixture mobility and features a zipper closure, retractable handle, and dedicated compartments for various accessories.
