Panasonic Announces 10-25mm f/1.7 Zoom Lens for Elevated Everyday Performance

Panasonic has packed the power of five primes into one fast zoom, in the Leica DG Vario-Summilux 10-25mm f/1.7 ASPH Lens for Micro Four Thirds cameras. Whether shooting landscapes, events, or portraits, you can travel light with the new lens, which offers an equivalent of 20-50mm zoom. Three aspherical lenses and four Extra-low Dispersion elements reduce distortion and aberration for capturing high-quality images. A 240 fps internal AF makes focusing lightning quick for both still and video applications.

Speaking of video, a de-clickable aperture ring with micro-step drive system and focus clutch for gracefully switching from auto to manual focusing modes makes this lens a choice option for videographers on the go. Dust and splash resistance further increases the versatility of the lens, making it a solid companion no matter where your next project goes.
