Profoto is building upon the Clic series with two newcomers: the Clic Fresnel and the Clic Gel Holder.
Compatible with A-series flashes, both light modifiers feature instant magnetic Clic mounting and are stackable with other Clic modifiers. The Clic Fresnel creates a concentrated light beam with a dramatic fall-off, making it a good option for selective lighting and for throwing light over longer distances. Notably, it adds 1.7 stops to the A2 and 1.2 stops to the A10. Like other products in the Clic lineup, the Clic Fresnel’s simple magnetic mounting attaches and detaches with ease, making it well suited for fast-paced environments. Users looking for versatility might also consider the Clic Gel Holder, which enables users to tailor their own light ambiance by tacking on gels. The included stainless-steel template provides users the additional option to cut gels. Attaching directly onto Profoto A-series flashes, the Clic Gel holders are stackable with the OCF Adapter II, Clic Softboxes, and Clic Grids. While both accessories include their own protective cases, Clic fans can also opt for small or medium cases. Both cases can accommodate a variety of Clic accessories and are ideal for users who want to keep their gels, grids, and other attachments consolidated.
