The always inspirational (and legendary) street photographer Mel DiGiacomo explains his process for keeping the love alive and his eye—and hands—sharp (and no one is sharper than DiGiacomo). From his ongoing projects on the Antiguan village he adopted, to rugby, to tattoo conventions, to firefighter wet-downs, DiGiacomo’s ongoing projects run the gamut and act as the gym for working out his photography muscles. He even photographs weddings, in his own inimitable style—even when he’s not been hired! He explains how he makes that work well for him.
DiGiacomo discusses how to find projects to shoot, about motivation and results. After decades in the business, he still loves photography. He can’t stop! And as anyone who has ever attended one of his talks will attest, that love is infectious and will transform the way you think about your work.
