In this video, produced during the 2015 B&H Optic Imaging Conference, photographer Susan Seubert talks about how food photography and travel photography go hand in hand. There are few things that all life on Earth has in common, but one of them is food. Often times, when traveling, the most memorable experiences can revolve around food—from farmers' markets to roadside stands to exquisite, five-star meals. Seubert has mastered the subtle nuances of photographing food while shooting more than 20 feature stories for National Geographic Traveler, from Canada to the Caribbean and Texas to Thailand. She covers the nuts and bolts of good food photography, including a few iPhone tips, as well as how to find ways to explore culture through eating.
