It’s that time of the year again. 2026’s NAMM is starting things off strong with an announcement from Fender of several exciting new audio interfaces with musicians in mind. Co-designed by PreSonus, these interfaces feature specially designed Fender Hi-Z instrument preamps ideal for DI recording and reamping.

First up is the Quantum LT 2, a 2x2 USB-C audio interface. Ideal for solo creative projects and content creation, this interface provides 24-bit/192 kHz PreSonus AD/DA and Fender’s newly designed Hi-Z preamp, along with a quality MAX-HD mic preamp for 75 dB of clean gain. This interface supports loopback (ideal for streaming and podcasting), a standalone mixer mode for DAWless mixing, and convenient USB-C bus power. This interface is also available in a Creator bundle (with a large-diaphragm condenser mic and headphones) and a Complete bundle (with a mic, monitors, and headphones).

Next up is the Quantum LT 4, which adds another MAX-HD mic preamp to the mix for 4x2 interfacing and handling slightly larger endeavors. For truly large projects which require enough I/O for capturing a drum kit or a whole ensemble live, the Quantum LT 16 increases the MAX-HD mic pre count to eight, with eight TRS line inputs (14 line inputs total), DC-coupled outputs, MIDI I/O, and a free perpetual license for Fender Studio Pro.

Fender Quantum HD 2 20x24 USB-C Audio Interface

The Quantum HD 2 is geared more towards studios and pro content creators. It’s a 20x24 USB-C audio interface and features auto gain for hassle-free gain staging, up to 32-bit/192 kHz AD/DA, 16-channel ADAT, S/PDIF I/O, special reamp outputs for amp and pedal experiments, and full support for Universal Control and Studio Pro. The Quantum HD 8 offers 26x30 interfacing and upgrades the HD 2’s single mic pre with eight MAX-HD mic pres. Like the LT 16, the HD interfaces offer a perpetual license for Fender Studio Pro.
