SSL Subsidiary Harrison Audio has released the Harrison FleX-10, a new high-performance USB/ADAT 10-in/12-out audio interface compatible with MacOS and Windows with the provided ASIO driver. The FleX-10 offers advanced features in a desktop form factor with premium circuitry, injecting analog quality harmonic saturation into anything it records.
Capable of up to a 32-bit/192-kHz sample rate, the Harrison FleX-10 supports eight channels of digital ADAT I/O and sports two authentic Harrison mic preamps, two Hi-Z instrument inputs conveniently located on the front end, and two line-level inputs for line sources like synthesizers or electronic instruments. Each preamp features the togglable H-DRIVE setting, engaging Harrison’s signature transformer circuits that add drive and character to any signal.
Dual high-current headphone outputs have individual volume control to facilitate collaboration. High- and low-pass filters are also included on the front panel, derived from the original Harrison 32 Series consoles, allowing for tone shaping and space carving directly from the interface.
The rear panel of the FleX-10 has a lot of great features as well: dual-stereo monitoring outs give you the flexibility to run a main and aux monitor path; 3.5mm TRS MIDI I/O enables connections to synthesizers, drum machines, and other MIDI enabled gear; and dedicated balanced insert points on both channels make integrating your favorite EQ, compressor, or boutique 500-series tone-shaper a breeze.
The Harrison Creator Pack and Mixbus 12 DAW software bundle is included with the FleX-10, coming with a collection of virtual instruments, loops and samples, and an award-winning analog console-inspired digital audio workstation, so you can get started as soon as you plug in the device.
