Now in stock at B&H, the Lectrosonics IFBT4-VHF Transmitter and IFBR1a-VHF Multi-Frequency Beltpack IFB Receiver together offer an ideal wireless solution for use in broadcast, motion picture, theater, and stage applications where extended operating range and high-quality audio are essential.
Based on the company’s Digital Hybrid Wireless system, the transmitter gives you 50mW output power for long range use, an XLR input jack, and a built-in microphone preamp. The receiver features a straightforward, simple design, allowing you to set the default frequency using two rotary switches on the side panel. Up to five additional frequencies can also be programmed into the receiver memory using the scan mode.
The IFBT4-VHF Transmitter uses a pilot tone signal to control the audio squelch function on the IFBRA-VHF receiver. This helps to eliminate noise when the transmitter is turned off, and it prevents the receiver from locking onto false signals. The transmitter has a backlit LCD screen for use in dimly lit conditions that is also visible in direct sunlight.
Designed with flexibility in mind, the system can be used with a dynamic microphone or with an intercom system. DIP switch controls on the rear panel of the transmitter provide direct compatibility with RTS and Clear Com intercoms.
