The Lectrosonics IFBT4 VHF Transmitter with IFB Beltpack Receiver Kit from B&H includes an IFB (Interruptible Fold Back) frequency-agile Transmitter and an IFBR1a-VHF multi-frequency wireless beltpack receiver. It can be used for talent cueing and crew communication in broadcast, theater, live stage, and motion picture production.

The transmitter features 50mW output power and uses Lectrosonics patented Digital Hybrid Wireless system. When paired with the kit's receiver, the system can be programmed with up to five additional frequencies, and stored in the memory using the scan mode.

The B&H IFB transmitter and beltpack kit is suitable to drive a wide variety of earbuds, headphones, and induction neck loops (sold separately) at substantial levels for most monitoring, and cueing system applications.

  • Lectrosonics IFBT4-VHF Frequency Agile IFB Transmitter (174.100 to 215.750 MHz)

The IFBT4-VHF Frequency Agile IFB Transmitter from Lectrosonics is designed for use in broadcast, motion picture, theater, and stage applications where extended operating range and high quality audio are essential. It can be used as a stand-alone device, or it can be patched directly into a popular intercom system.

Featuring 50mW output power and a design based on Lectrosonics patented Digital Hybrid Wireless system, the transmitter pilot tone signal controls the audio squelch on the IFBRA-VHF receiver (sold separately) to eliminate noise when the transmitter is turned off. This prevents the receiver from locking onto false signals. An LCD display is backlit for use in dimly lit conditions and is also visible in direct sunlight.

Furthermore, DIP switch settings on the rear panel provide direct compatibility with RTS and Clear Com intercom systems. A preamp stage is also included in the input stage and allows direct connection to dynamic microphones in stand-alone applications. Moreover, direct output at studio line level can also be fed directly into the transmitter.

Finally, the transmitter is housed in a strong, machined-aluminum case with an electrostatic powder coating and an anodized finish. It is powered by 6 to 18 VDC via a locking connector on the rear panel. Additionally, the transmitter is supplied with a 1/4 wavelength whip antenna, which is a detachable, galvanized-steel cable that also connects to a locking 50 ohms BNC connector on the rear panel. The AC power supply is also included.

  • Lectrosonics IFBR1a-VHF Multi-Frequency Beltpack IFB Receiver (174.100 to 215.750 MHz)

The IFBR1a-VHF from Lectrosonics is a multi-frequency wireless beltpack IFB (Interruptible Fold Back) receiver that can be used for talent cueing and crew communication in broadcast and motion picture production. In addition, the IFB receiver provides simplicity and flexibility in a package that is intuitive for untrained users to operate.

Featuring two rotary-control switches on the side panel, the IFBR1a-VHF receiver can be programmed with up to five additional frequencies, and stored in the memory using the scan mode. If more than one frequency is stored in the receiver, the operator can scroll through all stored frequencies by simply pressing the volume knob.

Furthermore, it is built durable in a machined aluminum housing, and has a battery door that stays permanently attached when opened. It is powered by a single 9V alkaline battery, and will run for 8 hours, or up to 20 hours using a 9V lithium battery.

Finally, the receiver will drive a wide variety of earbuds, headphones and induction neck loops at substantial levels with loads from 16 to 600 ohms. An Allen wrench is included to adjust the frequencies manually, and a leather carrying case is also included.
