Designed specifically for mastering engineers, Apogee has announced its forthcoming 2x6 Special Edition AD/DA module for the flagship Symphony I/O MKII audio interface. The 2x6 SE takes advantage of the latest advancements in the digital audio technology, such as line level inputs with 124 dB(A) of dynamic range and a THD+N of -116 dB, while the line level outputs boast a dynamic range of 131 dB(A) and a remarkably low THD+N of -118 dB.
The D/A stage incorporates the latest DAC technology, which is optimized for mastering the engineer's need for truly transparent performance for making critical adjustments with confidence. Whether you are working with outboard gear or in the box, the 2x6 SE retains every bit of image, punch, and warmth in your recordings and signal-processing chains.
The 2x6 SE features two analog line-level inputs via XLR and six analog line-level outputs via DB-25. All inputs and outputs are fully trimmable. Additionally, the module offers an assortment of digital I/O. The 2x6 SE is available in Thunderbolt and Pro Tools HD Symphony I/O MKII configurations, or as separate module to be added to the second open slot of any Symphony I/O MKII chassis alongside an 8x8 or 16x16 configuration.

With a simple Ethernet connection, the Symphony I/O Mk II can be easily accessed from your computer, shared between multiple spaces, multiple workstations, and juiced with almost infinite real-time DSP power via Waves SoundGrid servers. Symphony I/O Mk II SoundGrid integrates with all DAWs, providing limitless possibilities for every kind of studio, live, and post-production scenario. There are a variety of configurations, from the bare chassis to the fully blown 32x32 analog I/O.

DualPath FX rack provides equalization and dynamics plug-in processing that runs natively within your DAW and on hardware-based DSP in your Apogee interface.
