Renowned for its line of amplifiers and speakers, QSC has entered the mixer game with the TouchMix-16 Digital Mixer, newly arrived at B&H. Boasting 20 inputs with 16 microphone preamps, the mixers lets you get hands-on via an integrated color touchscreen, unlike many recently released mixers that have you snap your iPad into a dock for touchscreen functionality. Though its fader and effects are controllable by its built-in touchscreen, the TouchMix-16 still offers iPad integration, allowing you to control the mixer remotely from your iPad via a Wi-Fi connection.
Each channel has DSP processing, including a four-band parametric EQ, gate, and compressor. On the effects front, you have access to reverb, echo, delay, chorus, and pitch correction. If you want to record your live performance or use the TouchMix-16 in the studio, simply add a USB hard drive and you have access to multi-track recording, with sampling frequencies up to 48kHz.
