Pioneer is now shipping the Interface 2, a two-channel audio interface designed for rekordbox dj and rekordbox dvs, which allows for tactile control over the DJ software utilizing your own preferred DJ equipment, such as turntables and CD players. The interface comes bundled with rekordbox dj and rekordbox dvs, as well as two vinyl control records. Simply connect two turntables or CD players and start DJ’ing right away.
The Interface 2 utilizes Pioneer’s latest professional technology, making it compatible with high-resolution audio files (up to 24-bit/96 kHz). The compact, robust chassis is sturdy enough to handle the rigors of on-the-road wear and tear. There are two sets of RCA inputs that are switchable between phone and line level. The unit also provides two sets of RCA outputs for connecting to a DJ mixer. The onboard LEDs offer visual feedback of the signal flow, allowing you to see your input and output levels easily in low-light conditions. The Interface 2 also functions as a high-quality audio interface for recording vinyl records and line-level sources.
The Interface 2 can be powered via USB from your computer or with the included power supply, giving you options for your setup. The input section features a knurled knob for grounding your turntables. Even when fully opened, the knob stays attached, so there’s no chance of it falling off. The entire package includes a power cord, AC adapter, USB cable, four stereo RCA audio cables, four rubber feet, a license key for rekordbox dj and dvs, and two control vinyl records.
