Pioneer DJ has been on the forefront of DJ technology for more than 20 years. Pioneer’s equipment can be found on most professional artist’s technical riders, making them an industry standard with professional quality sound, cutting-edge effects, and a highly durable design. The DJM-750MK2 draws its technology and design elements from the highly respected DJM-900NXS2. The mixer features four channels with an integrated USB sound card with support for up to four stereo channels of 24-bit/48 kHz audio.

Each channel offers a trim control, a three-band EQ/ISO, a color FX knob, and a level fader. The assignable Magvel crossfader is rated for more than 10 million movements, while the cut lag has been improved for more assured and responsiveness. The onboard effects include Sound Color FX, Beat FX, and Frequency FX. The Sound Color FX feature selections for Dub Echo, Sweep, Noise, and Filter, while Beat FX offer selections for Delay, Echo, Ping Pong, Spiral, Reverb, Trans, Flanger, Pitch, Roll, Vinyl Brake, and Helix in sync with the BPM. The Frequency FX allows you to choose to which frequency range you’d like to apply effects. For example, add echo to just the vocals or double the rhythm of the high-hats.

The rear panel offers an assortment of inputs and outputs. Each channel’s input includes phono and line via stereo RCA connectors, plus a signal ground for turntables. For outputs, the DJM-750MK2 offers master outputs on balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA, while booth outputs offer ¼" balanced connectors. The unbalanced stereo ¼" send and return allow you to incorporate outboard effects into your setup. A combination XLR-1/4" input allows you to add a microphone, while the front panel offers dedicated level controls and a two-band EQ with a talk-over function. What’s more, you can use the beat effects on the microphone for forward-thinking performance effects. The DJM-750MK2 lets you utilize ¼" and 1/8" headphones for cue monitoring simultaneously.

Additional features include a USB Type-A top-mounted connector that supports iOS devices for use with synthesizers, samplers, and FX apps, such as Pioneer's optional RMX-1000 for iPad. An independent Send & Return section allows for external effects to be used simultaneously with the internal effects. The Send & Return effects can also be used as an insert or auxiliary sends. The insert mode replaces the original audio with the processed signal, while using the aux send mode gives you the option to route the effect sound to a separate channel and mix it with the original.

The Pioneer DJ DJM-750MK2 is bundled with rekordbox dj for library management and digital performance capabilities, while the included rekordbox dvs software allows you to control rekordbox dj with digital vinyl or CDs for low-latency scratching and turntable-style tricks.
