RØDE Announces Wireless GO II TX and Wireless ME TX Microphone Transmitters

Need to add a second ultracompact clip-on microphone/transmitter to your RØDE Series IV wireless mic system? Then you’ll be delighted to know that your favorite Australian audio company is releasing two new transmitter options: the Wireless GO II TX and the Wireless ME TX, and both will work with the receivers from the Wireless ME, Wireless GO II, RØDEcaster Duo, and the Streamer X systems.

Wireless GO II TX

If you’ve used any of RØDE’s clip-on wireless systems, you know how easy to use these transmitters are. While both feature high-quality built-in omnidirectional microphones and 3.5mm inputs for lavaliers, the Wireless GO II TX is the more sophisticated model. This is due largely to its ability to capture up to 40 hours of on-board recording in its internal memory, great for stand-alone audio recording and handy as a backup when you’re using it with a wireless system. The unit features an extended frequency response and can transmit audio at a line-of-sight range of up to 656 feet, while the rechargeable battery provides up to 7 hours of operating time. Transmissions are protected by 128-bit encryption technology, ensuring your audio remains safe from uninvited listeners.

Wireless ME TX

The more streamlined Wireless ME TX doesn’t offer onboard recording or encryption and its transmission range maxes out at 328 feet. A helpful feature is the intelligent GainAssist technology that automatically adjusts volume levels on the fly. The built-in rechargeable battery provides 7 hours of operating time.
