Leading memory and storage company Sabrent has released two new blisteringly fast, high-capacity memory cards—the Sabrent 512GB Rocket UHS-II SDXC Memory Card (with SDXC and microSDXC Card Reader) and the Sabrent 1TB Rocket CFX CFexpress Type B Memory Card.

Los Angeles-based Sabrent has been in the business since 1998, when it got its start, in Pittsburgh, PA. The company makes memory cards, high-end external and internal hard drives, SSDs, card readers, USB accessories, and more.

The new Sabrent 512GB Rocket UHS-II SDXC Memory Card features a maximum read speed of 280 MB/s, a maximum sequential write speed of 250 MB/s, and a minimum sustained write speed of 90 MB/s. These specifications allow stable recording in 8K, 6K, 4K, and Full HD video, as well as high-speed capture of full raw photos. The card is also resistant to shock, water, and X-rays.

The card is available with or without an SDXC/microSDXC card reader in 64GB, 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB capacities, and also features bad block management and static and dynamic wear-leveling technology.

On this Sabrent SDXC card, the UHS-II media achieves its speed through an extra row of pins and, while this card has been designed for cameras that are UHS-II / V90 compatible, it may be used in devices that do not support UHS-II / V90. The Sabrent Rocket will then default to your device's speed class and bus rating.

For CFexpress Type B card shooters, the Sabrent 1TB Rocket CFX CFexpress Type B Memory Card offers specs that today’s professionals demand—with a maximum read speed of 1700 MB/s, a maximum write speed of 1500 MB/s, sustained read speeds of up to 1600 MB/s, and a minimum sustained write speed of 400 MB/s. A PCle 3.0 x2 bus supports 8K, 6K, 4K, and Full HD video, and raw burst photo demands.

The CFexpress Rocket CFX card supports data protection functionality standards more commonly seen in SSDs like TRIM, SMART, encryption, and upgradeable firmware. The Rocket CFX cards are backward compatible with appropriate devices and are also power-efficient to maintain your battery life and prevent overheating.

For those requiring less memory, the Rocket CFX is available in 512GB capacity. Both capacities are available bundled with a CFexpress Type B Card Reader.
