DZOFilm Adds a 24mm Focal Length to its Gnosis Marco Prime Lens Line

0Share

DZOFilm has rounded out its Gnosis Macro Prime series with the new Gnosis 24mm T2.8 Macro Lens, available with imperial or metric focus markings to create one cohesive range for wide-angle, macro-focused shots.

The 24mm lens itself, like others in the series, has a built-in ARRI LPL-mount with PL and EF-mount adapters to suit a wide range of cine cameras. It covers Full Frame and VistaVision sensors and maintains a wide angle of view of 83.8° and 88°, respectively. A large maximum aperture of T2.8 ensures your images will remain sharp even in low-light environments. The 24mm focal length offers a 1.25:1 magnification ratio at a reduced minimum focus distance of 6.1" to capture fine details. Its 16-blade aperture creates smooth bokeh and allows for precise exposure control. Color remains vibrant yet natural, thanks to the three HRI elements and two low-dispersion elements inside the lens.

With the release of the 24mm focal length, DZOFilm is now offering two additional three-lens kits for the Gnosis macro primes in imperial and metric measurements. The kits outfit you with the 24mm, 32mm, and 65mm lenses to cover ultra-wide, wide, and standard FOVs. A dedicated hard case stores each lens, three PL and EF-mount adapters, and additional tools you might need to mount the lenses for your cinema camera of choice.
