IRIX Cine has released a telephoto counterpart to its macro lens to better suit your long-distance focusing needs. These 150mm T3.0 Telephoto Cine Lenses come in a slew of mount options—Canon EF, Canon RF, Leica L, Micro Four Thirds, Nikon Z, Sony E, and ARRI PL—for compatibility with almost any cine camera.
Designed to zero-in on objects with greater precision from 6.6' and beyond, the telephoto series combines the familiar characteristics of the macro lenses for high-quality imagery with improved focusing mechanisms. The lenses can cover up to full-frame sensors and feature luminous focus marks in feet for intuitive adjustment.
The lenses boast an aperture range of T3.0 to T22 and 11 iris blades for rounded, smooth bokeh. Further adjust your exposure by adding IRIX lens hoods and filters with the integrated Magnetic Mounting System or utilize your preexisting gear with the 86mm front filter thread. Each lens is also fully sealed to withstand all weather conditions.
Other compatibility features include the 0.8 MOD focus and aperture rings, as well as a detachable 1/4"-20 support foot, which can be mounted on the upper or lower portion of the lenses. This ensures the lenses can be used with almost any follow focus system for more precise control. Lightweight and compact, these IRIX lenses don’t add unnecessary heft to your cine configuration.
