Atom A5 5.5" Monitor

The new Atom A5 Wireless Rx/Tx Monitor packs a lot of function into its compact form. Aside from being a bright touchscreen monitor, this 5.5", all-in-one unit can work as either a video transmitter or a receiver, depending on your needs. The Atom A5 has an impressive transmission range of up to 492' and is compatible with existing Atom-series video components.

Display-wise, the Atom A5 features sharp 1920 x 1080 resolution, a 1200:1 contrast ratio, and 1000 cd/m² brightness for daylight viewing. Dual HDMI ports enable you to input your camera’s video signal and output it to a larger monitor for viewing by the director and other crew members. You can even use the Atom A5 to record MP4 files to a microSD (TF) card for quick, on-set playback and/or for proxy editing. Synced recording means that each Atom A5 transmitter or receiver unit in your setup will start recording simultaneously with your camera.

The redesigned CINE OS has a new menu that offers new scope, color, and exposure selections, the ability to store up to 50 LUTs, and a touch zoom function. Reduced latency of 80ms makes pulling focus easier and more accurate, as does a new focus-peaking algorithm.

At the rear of the monitor, dual built-in plates are ready to power the Atom A5 using Sony L-Series batteries, with one battery providing up to 4.5 hours of continuous use. This monitor’s detachable external antennas can be swapped out to suit different setups.

The 8.9" Storm CINE 8‘s 2560 x 1600 display shines with a brightness of 1500 cd/m² for easy daylight viewing and its touchscreen menu, with a proprietary CINE OS, puts instant access to a range of settings at your fingertips. The integrated wireless video receiver operates on 5.1-5.9 GHz frequencies and has a range of up to 500'.
