Vaxis Atom A5 Overview

The monitor supports up to 1080p60 video input via its HDMI input, and it features an HDMI loop output to send video to an external display. It also allows you to record your program as an MP4 proxy using the built-in microSD/TF card slot. Multiple imaging tools are available using the built-in CINE OS software, including scopes, peaking, and storage of up to 50 3D LUTs on the monitor.

I will first say that I purchased this product used $750. For this price and functionality, this product is great! No noticeable delay. Great sharp monitor. Great accessory to my kit for monitoring. I also have Ninja Vs but they are no replacement for these.

Great brightness, decently sharp and a good set of features that you would need as a DP or 1st AC/Focus (False Color, Scopes, even Anamorphic De-squeeze. Setup was a little odd connecting to the Atom 500 SDI kit; needed to Pair the two systems, but wasn't very clear to do so from the menu and otherwise vague manual. For the simple fact that for under $1.5K I now have a robust wireless video solution for my 1st AC/Focus, Director, not to mention anyone joining via the app, this purchase is well worth it.

Yes, the Vaxis Atom A5 5.5" Wireless RX/TX Monitor has a play button that allows you to scrub through, and playback recorded clips in up to 1080p 60 resolution.

What accessory do I need to send the signal from my Canon C300 MK3 HDMI/SDI to this monitor so it can be used as a wireless mon?

You would need to add a second Vaxis Atom A5 5.5" Wireless RX/TX Monitor as the Transmitter. Then use the HDMI output of your Canon C300. Also you could purchase the Vaxis Atom 500 kit, and just use the Transmitter to send a signal to the Vaxis A5 from HDMI or SDI.
