Core SWX has done it again, bringing a newly designed power solution to your cinema set with the Renegade Series Mobile Power Stations. Both the Renegade and Renegade XL variants deliver high-capacity, high-current outputs using lithium-based power solutions for cinema and lighting gear.
The Renegade Power Station
Equipped with 777Wh internal Lithium Iron Phosphate cell chemistry, the Renegade Power Station can deliver multi-voltage power via XLR and powerCON connections with a maximum load of 20A. Two 4-pin XLR connections offer 15V of regulated power output, two 3-pin XLRs provide 28V, and a single powerCON port outputs a regulated 48V.
It requires the PFQ8 external charger to function and recharges in just 3.5 hours once depleted. A backlit, runtime LCD gives three-phase status reporting, displaying the standby charge level, real-time updates when connected to a device, and recalculated runtime based on present load current for a more accurate battery life estimate.
The Renegade XL and XL 48
For heavy-duty power, look no further than the XL and XL 48. Both are constructed with Lithium-Ion cells and have a capacity of 1376Wh. Where they differ are their respective output connections; the XL offers diverse ports for your cinema equipment and the XL 48 offers only powerCON connections for your lighting units.
On the XL, two 4-pin XLRs provide 14V of power, one 3-pin XLR provides a regulated 28V, and a single powerCON connection outputs a regulated 48V. These connections offer support for cinema cameras and LED light sources. The XL 48 has just two powerCON outputs that both provide a regulated 48V of power with a maximum load of 15A each to support high-power LED lights.
Both models include additional D-Tap and USB ports to power peripheral accessories or provide firmware updates to the unit. Daisy chain multiple Renegade XL units together to extend runtimes and power capabilities for larger scale productions. Full color OLED displays on the XLs make battery monitoring intuitive and efficient. You can even monitor the stations from the Cloud using Core SWX’s VoltBridge Mesh platform. Plug a VoltBridge dongle into your unit’s aux port for local and remote monitoring of the battery performance. Internal and external charge with a separately available SFQ40 rapid charger can recharge your XL unit in either 5.5 or 2 hours, respectively.
All the Renegade units are designed with form factor in mind, maintaining compact, portable builds while remaining compatible with legacy cases for easy integration with your preexisting Core SWX travel accessories.
