AJA’s latest recorder/monitor, the Ki Pro Ultra 12G, is all about versatility, reliability, and convenience. This newest member in AJA’s family of pro video components can record up to UHD 4K video in Apple ProRes or Avid DNxHR via a single 12G-SDI input or capture and display up to four 1080p or 720p 50/60 streams simultaneously in ProRes. The Ki Pro Ultra 12G features HDR support, a multi-view display, 12G-SDI, quad 3G-SDI, and HDMI 2.0 inputs and outputs plus SFP cages for optional fiber modules for runs up to 6.2 miles. This recorder/monitor provides individual ProRes codec support for each channel and also supports DNxHD MXF HD single-channel recording.
The 2RU-high Ki Pro Ultra 12G recorder is ideal for live event trucks, studio work, and scientific and medical production. The front panel sports an HD display plus physical control buttons and dials. You can choose a single view or up to a 4-channel multi-view on both the built-in display and the “Super Out” feed. The Ki Pro Ultra 12G’s “Super Out” port enables you to display audio levels, timecode, frame rate, and more on a larger monitor for easier viewing.
An integrated web interface in the Ki Pro Ultra 12G offers remote configuration, control, and monitoring, plus file transfer via a standard browser window. Additional features include a powerful REST interface for automation, up to 16 channels of embedded audio via SDI, and up to 8 channels via HDMI plus multi-channel AES and analog options.
