The platform supports a camera rig weighing up to 13.2 lb and features a tension-adjustment knob to complement the angle of the slider. When your rig is mounted on the top of the platform using the 3/8"-16 mounting screw, it can tilt from 0 to 180° because the angle markings allow you to make fine tilt adjustments up to 90°. The platform installs on the Genie II linear and employs the quick-release function for quick mounting and unmounting, handy when you need to transfer quickly to a shoulder rig or a tripod.
You can create time lapses and vertical and extreme-angle sliding shots using the remote control of the Genie II Linear, and your camera will always move at a steady speed; you don't have to move or support the camera physically. Because the tilt platform comes with a 3/8"-16 to 1/4"-20 thread adapter for the base, it can also be used on any third-party slider or motion system with a compatible mounting screw.
