Truly Flexible LED Lighting from Westcott: The Flex Cine

The lighting experts at B&H Photo are pleased to introduce Westcott's Flex Cine line of RGBW, Daylight, and Bi-Color flexible mat LED lights. Aimed (so to speak) at pro video and film creators, these ultra-thin, lightweight, mat-shaped lights output accurate, adjustable color temps while producing minimal heat and conforming to tight or challenging spaces. Flex Cine features include a light spread of up to 360˚, wireless DMX dimming capability, a lifetime warranty, and a wide array of accessories for shaping your light.

Separately available options include the required wireless DMX dimmer, a long-lasting 26V battery, Cine Softboxes, Egg Crate grids in Softbox and Hard Diffusion choices, and extension cables. Flex Cine lights are available individually or in kits of one or two units, complete with dimmer(s), frame(s), various accessories, and a carrying bag.

The Westcott Flex Cine array includes RGBW 1 x 1' and 1 x 2' mats, Bi-Color 1 x 1', 1 x 2', 1 x 3', and 2 x 2' choices, and Daylight options in 1 x 1', 1 x 2', and 1 x 3'. Each Flex Cine light is designed with magnetic corners, metal grommets, and hook-and-loop fasteners for the utmost flexibility in mounting and positioning on set. Roll, bend, or attach the mat to an optional Scrim Jim frame as you see fit.

The smart Wireless DMX Dimmer features 512 channels, dimming to 1%, 100+ gel filter presets, source-matching, and CCT controls. A mat-sensing function automatically detects your Flex Cine unit and adjusts its voltage accordingly. Use the dimmer to control your Flex Cine lights wirelessly via Art-Net or using the Luminair iOS app. Handy dimmer features include a V-mount battery plate, 3/8"-16 and ¼"-20 threads, a USB port for updates, and a D-ring lanyard.

Dimmer Adapters are also available to pair the Wireless Dimmer with original Westcott Flex lights. Additional new Westcott items include seamless 6 x 6' and 8 x 8' full-stop diffusion fabric panels, and the 24" Switch Beauty Dish—designed for quick interchangeability with various flash units.
