Roland has packaged its well-known V-02HD video mixer with two different BOSS foot pedals, creating bundles that expand its functionality, and makes live production with two cameras and only one operator a possibility. The mixer allows you to switch seamlessly from two different HDMI sources. Designed and built to be a portable switching solution, the built-in scalers provide professional results, even when feeding the unit two different video formats. You can even mix computer formats with your HDMI video without glitches or throwing black frames into your output. A built-in T-bar allows you the analog feel that you are used to when working with larger switchers, and it features a graphics select knob, effects select, effects control, and menu button all in a robust package that fits in almost any camera bag. The mixer’s simple-looking interface is accented by the backlit indicators that show you which video source is active.
10-bit 4:4:4 processing ensures your video production remains even when adding visual effects to your video. The mixer permits flexible audio handling, enabling you to de-embed and embed both analog and digital audio. And with a built-in three-band EQ, you can tweak your audio for clean sound. Each bundle includes a foot switch that connects to the mixer and allows a single operator to switch between two cameras without being near the switcher. The V-02HD Pac1 includes a BOSS FS-5U momentary switch, which will trigger the mixer to switch inputs as long as you hold the pedal down. The V-02HD Pac2 includes a BOSS FS-6 two pedal switch, which allows you to use either a momentary function or set switches to latching so that you can just tap each pedal to select the camera.
