Doug Guerra, from B&H Photo, is in Las Vegas at CES 2019, scoping out the hottest and most exciting products. In this video, Guerra takes a turn with Roland’s new VR-1HD AV Streaming Mixer. With three HDMI inputs, built-in scalers on each input, and audio capabilities usually found on larger units, the VR-1HD impresses Guerra as he puts the mixer through its paces and points out the details and features, such as livestreaming, that make this little mixer such a big hit. What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas—unless you are B&H’s own Jake Estes, covering the goings-on at CES 2019. In this video, Estes dives right in and highlights Canon’s three new Vixia Camcorders, the HF W10, HF W11, and the HF G50. The W10 and W11 are waterproof and can be submerged down to 16', and they are Canon’s first underwater Vixia camcorders. Each camcorder comes with a built-in 5-hour rechargeable battery, and records on SD cards. The W10 features 8GB of built-in memory, while the W11 incorporates 32GB and a built-in video light. Join Jake Estes as he explores the Sony PXW-Z280 4K XDCAM Camcorder, a replacement of the highly popular PXW X200. The Z280 retains some of the features that made its predecessor great, and it adds even more powerful capabilities, such as UHD 4K at 59.94 4:2:2 (10-bit), face-detecting AF with single-face priority, and a USB port on the back of the camera for easily backing up to a flash drive.
