Types of Professional POV Cameras
POV models offer professionals a smaller alternative to broadcast video cameras while providing unique opportunities for cinema-quality results to beginning filmmakers. There are four main types of POV video camera:
Lipstick cameras
Lipstick models get their name from their size and shape—about the length and width of a lipstick tube. These cameras are also called bullet cameras, and are commonly associated with undercover surveillance or investigations.
Network cameras
Network models use an Ethernet link to broadcast or send video to specific sources. Also known as IP network cameras, these digital video cameras work well for IP surveillance because they offer progressive scanning. Cine cameras & SDI Cameras
