I bought a Canon Vixia HF R50 sometime ago. I want to use a USB Streaming Device like EasyCap to stream the Content from the Vixia to my Mac. Will this Cable do the Job to connect Vixia to Easy Cap?
You should be able to do what you wish with this cable. However, do know the video will only be SD or Standard Definition, not HD or High Definition. Now when you say Live Streaming, do you mean to send to the web? Or to record to your computer? In either event, the most affordable device to get an HD video into your Mac is the Blackmagic Design UltraStudio Mini Recorder Capture Device. From there, either connection device we have spoken of will allow you to record to your computer or stream to the web.
