This B&H Kit includes the ikan VH8 8" HDMI Monitor with LP-E6 Type Battery Plate and Hood. The VH8 features 1600 x 768 HD resolution, 300 cd/m² brightness level, and 400:1 contrast ratio for a crisp image. The monitor is about half an inch thick and weighs just over half a pound, making it a very slim and lightweight monitor to attach atop your camera. The monitor supports SD and HD resolutions and incorporates a loop-through HDMI in/out and composite input. The monitor features useful production display modes such as peaking, false color, and clip guides. A 1:1 pixel-for-pixel viewing mode allows you to view your image without scaling, thereby removing any scaling artifacts.
The monitor also features four selectable modes to scale DSLR video from the HDMI input for viewing. Four assignable buttons let you customize your workflow with the monitor's menu system. The VH8 also features an interchangeable battery plate that is compatible with Canon LP-E6 type batteries.
