The VH8 features 1600 x 768 HD resolution, 300 cd/m² brightness level, and 400:1 contrast ratio for a crisp image. The monitor is about half an inch thick and weighs just over half a pound, making it a very slim and lightweight monitor to attach atop your camera. The monitor supports SD and HD resolutions and incorporates a loop-through HDMI in/out and composite input. The monitor features useful production display modes such as peaking, false color, and clip guides. A 1:1 pixel-for-pixel viewing mode allows you to view your image without scaling, thereby removing any scaling artifacts.
