This B&H Kit includes the Mackie SRM150 Compact Active PA System and an official Mackie SRM150 Soft Carrying Bag. The PA system features a three channel mixer with two combo +48V phantom powered XLR/line inputs and a stereo RCA input for CD or MP3 players. A 5.25" full-range neodymium speaker driver and a 150W amplifier with 3-band active EQ provide a frequency response of 100 to 17,500 HZ and a maximum SPL of 120 dB. You can even attach the system to a microphone stand for live performances.

For mounting is says "Mic Stand Socket (Bottom)". ...
For mounting is says "Mic Stand Socket (Bottom)". So I cannot mount it on top of a std speak stand? I would need to purchase a boom?
Mic Stand Socket = 5/8" which is a standard Microphone stand thread size
Speaker stand is usually 1 1/2" or 1 3/8" in diameter so will not fit.
