Flex Lens Shade SL01 Reviews

Literally a flexible solution

I occasionally use a Panasonic GM1 and it is pretty useless in direct sunlight (fixed monitor, no EVF). I purchased this thinking it could provide some shade, allowing me to shoot even if it's bright out. Well, it does that (if awkwardly). What I love about this is how it holds its bent shape perfectly. I need to bend it back over the shutter and controls, meaning it needs to bend back while leaving room for me to hit the buttons. It does just that and, even if it's not as good as having an EVF, it helps quite a bit.

Works with small DSLR zooms!

question

can you bend it upward from the root (connection area), not in line with the lens?
Asked by: Zhuang M.
Yes it can bend so it is not in-line with lens. There is a soft flat piece of metal, inside, so you can bend and it will keep its shape. Hope this helps
