The Magnus VPH-20 Video Pan & Tilt Fluid Head supports up to 11 lb loads and provides smooth 360° pan and 180° tilt adjustment. It features a flat head design with a 3/8"-16 tripod mount thread on the bottom, which can be converted to a 1/4"-20 thread via an included reducing adapter. Thanks to the flat head design and these two mount types, the head can be attached to virtually any tripod as well as directly mounted on most camera sliders and other equipment. A removable, right-sided pan arm is included for maneuvering the head.

Will this unit support the weight of a Nikon D780 with a 18-300 FX lens attached ?
The weight of both the Nikon D780 and the Nikon AF-S DX NIKKOR 18-300mm would be under the weight limit of the Magnus VPH-20 Video Pan & Tilt Fluid Head (11lbs). It would hold it up just fine.

will the sony vct-vpr1 remote handle work with this fluid head?
I'm afraid not, that handle only works with the Sony Head that it comes with. However you could clamp the Sony RM-VPR1 Remote Commander to this Tripod Head's Pan Handle instead, B&H # SORMVPR1.https://bhpho.to/2h7YKvD

Will the Magnus VPH-20 Video Pan & Tilt Fluid Head fit a Zomei Q555 tripod? Also does this head come with a quick release plate or would I need to order one separate? Thank you.
This head will fit on any tripod, either 3/8 or 1/4 screw. This depends on whether you can get the tripod head off. We do not carry that tripod but the opinion is you can remove the ballhead and then you can put the Magnus in place.
