Ilford 101513 reviews

Prepaid 35mm and 120 Film Developing Mailer is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 19.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from fast turnaround with excellent results ilford service is incredibly fast. sent my film from the east coast and two days later i was notified that it was received and my scans were available for download that day. the results were excellent and i have never received negatives/scans back that were so free from dust, etc. I will continue to use this service after three consistent rolls/results.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good photo service I find the returned negatives and any prints ordered are done very well; the best I've seen lately. The negatives are sorted into plastic strips which is better than a page file because it would be difficult to damage (scratch) them in these strips. The prints are first rate also coming back as printed on silver emulsion paper. Small scans are free. Large scans and prints are optional and cost more. If you order the large scans, they will not send you a CD. You get them sent to your email instead. I hate downloading from my email and far prefer a CD. If you get the included small scans, those come on a CD. I have sent them XP2, HP5, and Tri-X films. All were developed properly and care was taken to not scratch the film.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst Service and use at your own Risk!!! Since I decommissioned my darkroom years ago I thought I would try B&W film again and send it to IlfordLabs-US in San Clemete CA. Don’t do it - turnaround time is really long and I received someone else’s negatives and prints. My only photograph is one I took of the image off the ground glass with my iPhone. There is no phone number to contact the lab just a page where you can send an “inquiry”. If you are going to use film then develop it yourself - this was a disaster. If you have important film to develop find a local lab since using IlfordLabs is very risky.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No Darkroom Necessary Professional results and you don't have to set up your darkroom. Great for use when traveling and shooting with vintage cameras. Drop them in the mail from wherever you are (each mailer holds multiple rolls) and your prints and scans are there when you arrive home. Postage is not icluuded, but you can mail them home from overseas.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from this is a good deal I sent them a roll for the first time and the turnaround was fast, and the CD and negs were well packaged. The quality of the scans was good, I will be buying more mailers from them. I think that they do color film but this is mostly for B&W negative film.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good lab. B&W film processing great. Sent a roll of Tmax 400. Got back the negs and scans in a timely manner and they look great.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from pricey but good quality and service I tried this out for Ilford black and white film in a 120 format. It was a test roll for a rolliflex TLR 3.5 that I purchased off of eBay from Japan. Accurate development was my major concern for this as I had a series of different tests on the role to evaluate both the shutter aperture as well as how well the shutter performed. The turnaround time was pretty quick under 10 days and the film quality returned included a CD with fairly lo-res proofs and the film itself was very nicely packaged to up in plastic sleeves. I would recommend this if you're just starting out and don't want to develop your own film or would like to have a lab that provides very consistent processing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for Black & White With black and white labs shuttering, it's good to have these mailers on hand. I've used one in the past with much satisfaction. I know it involves mailing. I also know you pay for postage and for high-res scanning. However, it's Ilford doing the processing-a name synonymous with black and white photography.
