The Massive 14 Laptop Cooling Pad from Thermaltake is built with two 5.5" / 14cm LED fans to deliver maximum cooling performance for laptops between 10 and 17". The ergonomic design and comfortable viewing angle maintain your laptop's ease of use. To power the fan, connect the included USB cable to one of the two USB ports on the cooling pad. An additional USB port allows you to connect a USB peripheral, such as a mouse. It also has two flip-up tabs in the front that keep the laptop from sliding off the pad.

Lost charging cable. Which one works? The normal double USB is not power transmitting so I cannot use my pad since I bought it :( Please advise which cable exactly from your website I can purchase to charge this device.

Yes, the Thermaltake cooling pad can also be powered via a USB hub. Please note that the USB hub must also have its own power source.

Will this work sitting on your lap?
The device draws air from the underside while being supported by small flip down legs. Anything that would restrict the flow of fresh air from the underside would significantly reduce the efficiency and most likely defeat the intended purpose. I found that even loose papers should not be allowed on the underside. Hope this helps....
