Polsen HPA-4X2 Reviews

Excellent headphone amp

I have had one of these for three or four years now and it works perfectly. We are in a band that now has seven people and we have been recording at home. I needed an additional headphone amp so I bought another one of these Polsen amps. They are great. They have a jack for connecting two (or possibly more) of these in series. (Each one does need a separate power adapter). They are completely silent (no hiss) and the volume controls operate smoothly. I only have one complaint. The older one has a soft green LED on indicator light which is great. The new one has an excessively bright yellow LED. I don't understand manufacturer's obsession with putting super bright LEDs on electronic devices. Otherwise, these amps are perfect.

quality audio, solid construction

With more people working from home, two or more people with this headphone amplifier can listen to a video stream without disturbing others. In a family Skype or zoom call, different family members can adjust the volume levels to their liking. And the sound quality is great. Attaching studio headphones to the 3.5mm analog out of my laptop provides a great sound experience, better than without extra amplification. Such a small and reasonably priced device with so many applications!
